Appearance
The Norwegian elkhound's outercoat is thick, coarse, and straight; the undercoat is soft, dense, and woolly.
Coat color is gray with black tips. The muzzle, ears, and tail tip are black; the legs, stomach, buttocks, and underside of the tail are silver.

Height: 19.5-20.5 inches - Weight: 44-55 lbs.
