Pulik (plural) are loyal, bright dogs that need early obedience training. Vigorous, active, and alert, the puli is a good home guardian and companion dog but usually does not make a good pet for children.

Appearance
The dense, profuse, corded coat of the puli is weather-resistant. The long outercoat is wiry and wavy or curly; the undercoat is soft, woolly, and dense. The outer, wiry hairs connect with the woolly undercoat hairs to form long cords.
